The Gravel Guard keeps those pesky pebbles from creeping in the top, while a breathable neoprene backing and inner padding also insulate and provide flotation in stream crawls. They are sized assuming they will be worn over polypro and under a suit, so if you like your pads over your pants be sure to order a larger size.
