The GGG RopeWalker is a double-bungee system which was developed to efficiently climb long, non-technical drops (e.g. Golondrinas or Fantastic Pit) at the expense of convenience when not on rope. The GGG RopeWalker consists of: the GGG RW Chest Harness; a swivel pulley with bungee and hooks; a Petzl Expedition (R) as top ascender; foot loops; a Petzl Jammer (Basic) as knee ascender; a Petzl Croll as foot ascender; an anti-heelhang strap; and the GGG Caver Harness with MR10 Half-Round quicklink closure. The bungee cord hooks to the Croll, passes through the pulley at the chest harness, then hooks back into the Jammer at the knee. The Expedition ascender rides on top of the Simmons Roller and attaches to the seat closure as a third-point safety. The anti-heelhang strap connects the knee ascender to the waist so that it is impossible to become completely inverted even if both the chest harness and the top ascender are taken off the rope.
