This is the story of this infamous cave rescue, as told by two screenplays aired in the '50's by NBC: "Rescue," Philco Playhouse, 1951; and "Crisis at Sand Cave," Robert Montgomery Presents, 1958. Although the production values are crude by today's standards, the events depicted are remarkably factual and complete. At the end of "Rescue" there are brief appearances by the real 'Skeets' Miller and Homer Collins, Floyd's brother. Runtime 1:55:39.
